Club

Elite Club Membership

The club is open to any pigeon fancier and all that is required is to provide a stool sample and a bird for a throat swab which is done inhouse and treat accordingly and pay your club fee.

To fly in the Elite club you are required to become a member of the Aberdeen Federation of Racing pigeons who have an annual fee of £300. This covers all Federation races with no restriction on the amount of birds sent, and any SNFC races they choose to compete in, but only allows you to compete in Federation racing only.

Other options to fly with the Elite club if you are outside the Federation radius.
You can just pay £2 per bird and send to the races.
Join the club Fees £25 then pay £2 per bird and this will allow you to fly with the Elite club and be on the club result
You could pay a transportation fee of £300 and compete in our club result but not in the Federation one. This would also allow you to enter any amount of birds old and young to any club race.
We are open to discuss what is the best requirement for you or the Club.
We can offer you marking and clock checking at the home end to be included or not in the Elite result.
A trailer to ship your birds to Aberdeen, or full marking and result facilities.
This must be discussed with us before racing so we can inform the Fed officials of our intent.

Advice

SCOTTISH KEPT BIRD REGISTER

All racing pigeon keepers are legally required to register their birds’ location with the Scottish Kept Bird Register and update their details at least annually. This guidance was launched in September 2024. If they were previously registered on the Great Britain Poultry Register (GBPR), they must re-register on the SKBR. Newest guidance means that the Secretary is required to keep records of all members details including their CPH number for 3 months after each marking date so it is very important that you have your CPH number and address on ALL of your race entry sheets. Registration is free, quick and simple! If you have not registered,
