I have had a major problem with all the rain on the new doors on the club unit. I have had to cut 1/4 of an inch off the right hand door because I cannot get it shut but now have just finished. The handle, latch and overlap plate had to be removed so I could get the electric saw in to cut it. Hopefully this should solve the problem.
I have registered the club with UNIKON at a cost of £60 per year so I have received the assignment code and we are up and running. I have also ordered 200 ETS rings.
I have ordered the Frazer Form as requested, I am waiting on the delivery and will let you know asap.
As we are now members of the Aberdeen Federation, you will now have to supply the club with your vaccination sheets signed by 2 Club/Fed members which MUST be on the transporter for the first race.
Basketing time will be on a Friday night (unless we postpone 24hrs then it will Saturday night) about 5pm to 7pm this is my guess at the moment I am sure it will be confirmed soon.
Gold ring sales are about £2,500 but I have some who have not responded to my request for payment. Rings are still available. The challenges have flopped. That will interesting to see what happens.
Good news from Andy Miller from the AMAL they have increased there sponsorship for 2026.
Remember the Federation Breeder Buyer sale is on the 19th April 2026
I am working with Richard Sanderson on the Clubs website which is now up and running. There will be updates as we find the right style and format to give the best insight and information available on your Club, Federation, Amal, Gold Ring Scheme and the Scottish National Flying Club. I know this is the Elite Club website but I see no reason not to include information on every organisation you could join, this is why we are the Elite club and always striving to do the things others cannot or do not want do. I want a website where you the members can find everything related to flying your birds in Scotland on one site easily found, accurate and reliable. That was the brief I gave Richard knowing full well he would deliver. Richard, in case you did not know, set up Pigeon Basics as a young lad and it was without doubt the biggest pigeon site on the internet in the UK. I am honoured he chose to take on this task and I am indebted to him for the time and effort given and having to deal with me. (not best with computers)
Steve has taken the discission to donate £100 to the Federation Transport Fund as 2 other clubs have done so.
Dan is going to change the club logo on Sec Pro this weekend.
Next meeting is 29th March for testing.
I had a meeting in Brechin with Richard Sanderson to discuss the how the website is progressing and future costs. It was nice to meet up after almost 20yrs. he will be working on it soon to smooth out some problems and get some photographs on, this will allow Marlene to add photos in the future or remove and replace.

New safety floor covering fitted . it will probably never be so clean again.
