Advice
SCOTTISH KEPT BIRD REGISTER
All racing pigeon keepers are legally required to register their birds location with Scottish Kept Bird Register and update their details at least annually. This guidance was launched in September 2024. If they were previously registered on the Great Britain Poultry Register (GBPR), they must re-register on the SKBR. This is a government legal requirement and outside the control of the SNFC. The SNFC cannot be seen to knowingly allow members to race in National races without a registration number and APHA could audit the club at anytime. Newest guidance means that Secretary is required to keep records of all members details including their CPH number for 3 months after each marking date, so it is very important that you have your CPH number and address on ALL of your race entry sheets. Registration is free, quick and simple! If you have not registered,
